​ I'm Beatriz but you can call me Bea! I’m a local lifestyle and landscape photographer based in Oakville, Ontario.
From the moment I remember, I always had a camera in my hands. My parents saved some pictures I took of the pigeons in the park when I was only three years old! With an interest in technology and art, photography soon became a strong passion. At seventeen I completed a professional photography course and four years later I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Photography.
I also did a few concept photography expositions in Portugal, such as "Realidade Subjectiva", "MEMENTO - Caderno de Memorias" and "Luz Negra". Since then I've worked with different photographers and then decided to start my own business!

Where are you based out off?I am based off in Oakville but I will travel to your events!

How do I get in contact and book with you?You can fill out the contact form and tell me all about your day and your loved ones! A 30% non-refundable retainer is required and a signed contract. Then your date is officially booked!

What is the turnaround time?For most sessions the final photos will be delivered within 2-3 weeks and the weddings within 6-8weeks, depending on the season. I always try to deliver your galleries as soon as possible while carefully dedicating the time to each photo.

What if we get bad weather?I encourage to embrace all weather and all it's beauty. If it's cold I advice to bundle up! If there was such adverse weather that would be unsafe to drive, possibly ruing my equipment or ruin our fun, then we would reschedule. I would make that call 2-3h before the scheduled session.

Do you provide the RAW's?No, RAW files are just data from the camera sensor and you wouldn't be able to open or print your photos. I provide the final photos that were carefully processed and best represent my work. It is during editing that your images come to life!

We don't know how to pose, will you help us?yes, absolutely! I will guide you along the way and will balance between posed and candid moments. I will use prompts and gently posing to let your personality shine! If there is a specific pose you would like, let me know in advance.

Can we reschedule the session?Yes, I am very understandable in situations of emergency, unsafe weather or sickness. If you can't make it please let me know in advance and you might be able to transfer your retainer for another date. Rescheduling is only possible once or the retainer will be lost.

Do you charge for travel?The first 45kms travel from Oakville are included in every package. Longer distances will have a fuel surcharge of 0.68cents per km on the return trip.

Can we order albums and prints?Yes of course! Please inquire about albums and prints with your session or wedding.

My photography style is considered true to color, candid, vibrant, and incorporates nature. With a love for storytelling, I strive to create images that evoke emotions, capturing a balance between posed shots and candid moments. It is so important to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for my clients and for that, I provide gentle direction when needed and also prompts to allow your personality to shine.
